Day-1 Arrival at Udaipur. Evening Boatride at Lake Pichola Arrival at Udaipur. Udaipur in South Rajasthan is a destination renowned for its lakeside character and a base point to visit Temples and Forts around the area. Guests may enjoy evening boat ride at Lake Pichola and take a walk around old city areas around the lake. Visit Bagore Ki haveli in the evening for the Cultural Show.
Day-2 Sightseeing in Udaipur Proceed for full day sightseeing. Areas to visit include Citi Palace Museum (near Lake Pichola), Vintage Car Museum, Jagdish temple, Karni Mata Temple (Ropeway). Visit local markets for shopping. Evening visit to Sajjan Garh (11 kms) is recommended which offers stunning views of the Udaipur and its lakes from a hilltop.
Day-3 Udaipur Exursions Guests have options for half day excursions from Udaipur. Options here include Nathdwara (Krishna temple - 42 kms - 1 hr) enroute visit Eklingji and Haldighati Museum (Maharana Pratap memorial) OR day excursion to Chittaurgarh Fort (120 kms - 2 hours one way) (a 25 km detour while returning and one will be able to visit Eklingji and Haldighati Museum (Maharana Pratap memorial). Evening guests have option to return to Lake Pichola for another heritage walk and boat ride OR Visit Shilpgram (Craft Gallery) near Fatehsagar Lake.
Day-4 Udaipur - Jodhpur via Ranakpur Proceed to Jodhpur (260 kms - 6 hours). Jodhpur is an access point to Desert circuit Areas and a major tourist destination known for its Mehrangarh Fort, handicrafts and craft villages around. Evening visit to Mandore Gardens and explore the local market. Enroute visit renowned Ranakpur Jain Temple.
Day-5 Sightseeing in and around Jodhpur. Visit Jaswant Thada and Mehrangarh Fort. Do shopping in Jodhpur for textiles and handicrafts. Late afternoon visit to Osiyan (60 kms) to Osiya Mata Temple, Jain Temples and Sand Dunes. Evening dinner by the Dunes with traditional dance performance. Alternatively one can do an excursion to Bishnoi village (20 kms) near Jodhpur. At Bishnoi Village experience rural communities of potters and weavers, spot Black Bucks / Blue bulls / Migratory Birds and spend evening at Bishnoi Village for Dinner alongwith a traditional dance performance.
Day-6 Jodhpur - Jaisalmer Sam Dunes. Sand Dune experience in the evening. Travel to to Jaisalmer (300 kms - 5.5 hrs). Enroute one can visit Manvar Oasis, Pokaran village and Ramdevra Temple. Jaisalmer is a prime destination in Desert Circuit of Rajasthan, renowned for a Living Fort and Sand Dunes. Proceed 45 kms farther from Jaisalmer to Sam Dunes. Reach Sam by 4.30 pm. Enjoy the sunset on the dunes, camel ride. Evening campfire with Rajasthani folk music & dance. Overnight stay at a camp in Sand Dunes and enjoy a complete desert experience.
Day-7 Jaisalmer Sightseeing. Early morning can opt for Camel ride / Camel cart safari and after breakfast can leave for Jaisalmer city (45 kms - 1 hr). Visit the Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon Ki Haveli, Gadsisar Lake, Cenotaphs, Jain Temples around Jaisalmer.
Day-8 Jaisalmer - Bikaner. Enroute visit Kheenchan (Bird Watching) and Deshnoke Temple (Rat temple) Proceed to Bikaner (330 kms - 6.5 hrs). Bikaner is part of Desert Circuit of Rajasthan, known for its ancient Forts, Palaces and Temples. Enroute guests can make a visit to Kheechan (area known for its Migratory Birds, especially Demosaille Cranes). Take little detour to visit Deshnoke's Karni Mata Temple (known as Rat Temple for being home to hundreds of Rats that guard the Temple deity).
Day-9 Visit Junagarh Fort and Lallgarh Palace Complex. Travel to Jaipur. Visit Junagarh fort and Lalgarh Palace Complex. Later proceed to Jaipur (330 kms - 6.5 hrs). Reach Jaipur by Evening. Jaipur is a major destination in Rajasthan visited for its heritage experience. Time permitting guests can enjoy Dinner at Chokhi Dhani Restaurant. (Ethnic Indian Restaurant serving Vegetarian Rajasthani Cuisine).
Day-10 Jaipur Sightseeing Proceed for full day sightseeing covering Amer Fort (Elephant ride is possible), Jantar Mantar (Observatory), Hawa Mahal and City Palace, Jal Mahal, Moti Doongri Temple etc. Evening explore local market for shopping.
Day-11 Proceed to Agra via Dausa, Abhaneri and Bharatpur. Proceed to Agra (230 kms, 5.5 hours). Enroute visit Mehandipur Balaji Temple (Dausa), Abhaneri Stepwell and Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (62 kms before Agra).
Day-12 Full Day Agra Sightseeing Visit Taj Mahal, one of the original seven wonders of the world and the Monument Agra is renowned for. Early morning is the ideal time to visit Taj Mahal. Later in the day visit Agra Fort, Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza. In the afternoon excursion to Fatehpur Sikri (a heritage town at 60 kms - 1.5 hours). Time permitting visit Mehtab Bagh in Agra in the evening for another view of the Taj Mahal across the River.
Day-13 Departure Proceed to New Delhi (210 kms - 4.5 kms) via Mathura Krishna Temple.
New Delhi - Delhi is the capital city of India and a major International arrival point and a major tourist destination. Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Jama Masjid, India Gate, Birla Temple, Mughal Gardens, Lodi Gardens, Rail Museum, Doll Museum, Zoological Park etc remain major tourist attractions of Delhi.
Udaipur - Udaipur is the Lake city of Rajasthan. Udaipur has now become an ex-Ahmedabad getaway and a destination where guests arrive to experience romance of the lake city and a bit of rajasthan.
Jodhpur - Jodhpur is the city known for its crafts, Forts, Palaces and Vibrant rural backdrop around it.
Sam - Sam Sand Dunes are 45 kms from Jaisalmer and is known for its sand dunes and experience the camps offer there.
Jaisalmer - Jaisalmer is visited for its Fort, restored cenotaphs, temples and Sand dunes all around it. It comes alive during the desert Festival in Jan end.
