Detailed Itinerary

Day-1 Arrive at Kathmandu Arrive at Kathmandu. Evening is free to explore Kathmandu.

Day-2 Kathmandu Sightseeing Proceed for the full-day sightseeing to Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa, After refreshment continue sightseeing to Swoyambhunath Stupa and Patan Durbar Square

Day-3 Drive to Chitwan Drive to Chitwan National Park. (186 kms / 5 hours). After lunch proceed for a safari.

Day-4 Chitwan Elephant Safaris, walks, Canoe ride and Tharu Tribal Dance Early morning Nature walk and Bird watching tour. Safari after breakfast on Elephant back. Guests may sight Deer, Rhinoceros, Wild boar, Leopard, Birds etc. After elephant back safari tour proceed for Dugout Canoe Ride along with Dungre / Rapti River to see 2 types of rare species of crocodile; the marsh mugger and the fish eating Gharial are found. Visit elephant breeding farm & drive back to the lodge. Late afternoon Village walk can be organized nearby Tharu village. Walk / drive back to the lodge/resort. Evening enjoy “Tharu Tribal Dance” presented by the local Tharu villagers.

Day-5 Return to Kathmandu Drive back to Kathmandu. Rest of the day is free to explore.

Day-6 Departure from Kathmandu Depart for onward journey.

Kathmandu :

  • Pashupatimath Temple - Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Shiva in the world. The temple is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. The temple is one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams (Holy Abodes of Shiva).

  • Swayambhunath - Swayambhunath, is among the oldest religious sites in Nepal. The place is revered by both Buddhists and Hindus. The stupa here was renovated in 2010 and now a major tourist attraction.

  • Patan Darbar Square - Patan Durbar Square is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of its attraction is The Ancient Royal Palace.

  • Boudhanath Stupa - The Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu is one of the largest in the world and the most significant Buddhist heritage monument in Kathmandu. There are about 50 Tibetan Gompas (Monasteries) around Boudhanath. Boudhanath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Kathmandu - Kathmandu (4500 ft) is Capital of Nepal and Nepal;'s largest city and the International airport. It boasts of Casinos, nightclubs and is a gateway to other destinations in Nepal Such as Pokhra, Chitwan, Jomsom etc.

Chitwan - Chitwan is the Tiger Country where rare population of Royal Bengal Tiger can be sighted. However its a park that can be visited for the sheer park experience on part with Corbett, Kanha and Nagarhole in neighboring India.
