Day-1 Arrive at Khajuraho. Visit Western Group of Temples at Khajuraho and Proceed to Panna.  Arrive at Khajuraho. Visit Western Group of Temples at Khajuraho and Proceed to Panna. Panna is a Wildlife Getaway at 46 kms from Khajuraho renowned for its Bird watching, Mahaseer Angling, Alligators and Off-beat riverside stays. Evening Boat Ride.

Day-2 Morning Jeep Safari. Visit Ken Ghariyal Sanctuary. Morning safari at Panna National Park. Afternoon visit to Ken Gharial Sanctuary / Raneh Falls.

Day-3 Departure Travel to Khajuraho (46 kms) and Depart for onward journey.

Panna :

  • Wildlife and Bird Watching in Panna - Panna is situated 46 kms from Khajuraho and visited for Alligator Sanctuary, Mahaseer Fishing and the wildlife sanctuary. More than 300 species of birds have been sighted in Panna of which around 65 are water birds. Guests take Jeep safaris into the park where now Tigers have been rehabilitated and other wildlife comprises Jungle Cat, Rusty spotted Cat, Leopard Cat, Desert Cat, Toddy Cat, Civet, Nilgai(Blue Bull), Sambhar Deer, Cheetal(spotted deer), Chausingha( four horned antelope), Chinkara and Wild Boar and Sloth bear.

  • Mahaseer Fishing in Panna - Ken River is excellent for fishing, a camp 45 minute upstream at Bahaarganj which is inside the park and has excellent fishing.

  • Raneh Falls and Ken Ghariyal Sanctuary - The Ken River forms a 5 kilometres long, and 30 metres deep canyon made of pure crystalline granite in varying shades of colours ranging from pink and red to grey. There is a series of waterfalls in the canyon (Popularly known as Raneh Falls). The larger and smaller falls run all through the year. Other seasonal falls appear during monsoons. The Ken Ghariyal Sanctuary is located near Raneh falls. Apart from Gharial (Alligator) one can also spot Wild boar, Chinkara, blue bull and peacocks
