Detailed Itinerary

Day-1 Arrive at Khajuraho. Afternoon visit to Western group of temples. Evening Light and Sound Show. Arrive at Khajuraho. Khajuraho is a heritage destination renowned for its temples having sculptures carved in erotic poses and is visited by guests from world over. Visit Western Group of Temples in the late afternoon (Audio Tour facility is developed by Archelogical Survey of India (ASI) for these temples). Enjoy Light and Sound Show in the Evening.

Day-2 Visit Eastern and Southern group of Temples. Excursion to Panna. Visit Eastern and Southern group of Temples. Day Excursion to Panna (46 kms). Panna is home to Gharial Sanctuary and Raneh Waterfalls.

Day-3 Proceed to Bandhavgarh. Evening Safari. Proceed to Bandhavgarh (250 kms - 5.5 hrs). Bandhavgarh National Park is renowned for being a park that offers best tiger sightings and therefore excellent for tiger photography. The Park also offers excellent range of flora and fauna and good for Bird watching in Winter. Evening Safari.

Day-4 Morning and Evening Safari. Morning and Evening Jeep Safari in Bandhavgarh National Park (Tala Range is the prime range). Elephant back Tiger Tracking (Tiger Show) can be availed if organised on the day of the travel.

Bandhavgarh :

  • Wildlife and Bird Watching in Bandhavgarh - Bandhavgarh is the best park when it comes to probability of having a tiger sighting. Besides the much celebrated and endangered tiger, the park is home to Leopards, Jungle cat, Wolf, Jackal, Indian Fox, Dhole or Indian Wild Dog, Sloth Bear etc. Bandhavgarh is also considered excellent for Bird watching and is home to more than 150 species.

Khajuraho :

  • Khajuraho Group of Temples - The Khajuraho Group of Monuments in Khajuraho is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. Khajuraho has the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples, famous for their erotic sculptures. The temples are grouped into three geographical divisions: western, eastern and southern. The Khajuraho Group of Monuments has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is considered to be one of the "seven wonders" of India.

  • Light and Sound Show at Khajuraho - The Khajuraho temple complex offers a professional light and sound show every evening. The first show is in English language and the second one in Hindi. The show is about an hour long and covers the history, philosophy and the art of sculpting of these temples. It is held in the open lawns in the temple complex.

  • Raneh Falls and Ken Ghariyal Sanctuary - The Ken River forms a 5 kilometres long, and 30 metres deep canyon made of pure crystalline granite in varying shades of colours ranging from pink and red to grey. There is a series of waterfalls in the canyon (Popularly known as Raneh Falls). The larger and smaller falls run all through the year. Other seasonal falls appear during monsoons. The Ken Ghariyal Sanctuary is located near Raneh falls. Apart from Gharial (Alligator) one can also spot Wild boar, Chinkara, blue bull and peacocks
