Day-1 Arrival at Matheran. Walking around Matheran. Evening visit to Sunset Point. Arrival at Matheran. Matheran (2500+ ft asl), a colonial era hill station steeped in time with tropical forest character excellent for walking and offers salibrious climate all round the year. Matheran is where cars are not allowed beyond a point 3 kms from market centre and therefore excellent for walking. Matheran is home to many view points such as Echo Point, One tree point, Charliotte Lake and Sunset point. Horse riding is a popular activity. Sunset point is a popular visit options where tourists converge.
Day-2 Walk to Lake, one tree point. Possible Horseriding. Walk around Matheran. Visit Market and do some shopping. Walk to Old Shiva Temple and Charlotte Lake (No Boating) and explore the tropical forest character of the area.
Day-3 Departure Depart for onward journey.

Matheran - Matheran (2500 ft) is renowned for its heritage train. Matheran is perhaps the only hill station in India that still does not allow cars and guests even today take a horseback ride or a hand rickshaw ride like they used to do in 1930s.
