Detailed Itinerary

Day-1 Travel to Shirdi via Nashik (Trymbakeshwar). Evening Darshan at Shirdi. Travel to Shirdi via Nashik ( Trymbakeshwar). Trymbakeshwar is a Lord Shiva Temple and one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temples. Shirdi (100 kms from Trymbakeshwar) is a renowned Saibaba Temple and one of the most visited temples in India. Evening Darshan at Shirdi Sai Baba Temple.

Day-2 Travel to Aurangabad (Grishneshwar) via Shani Shingapur Temple Travel to Aurangabad (Grishneshwar) via Shani Shinganapur (150 kms - 3.5 hours). Grishneshwar near Ellora / Aurangabad (40 kms) is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temples of Lord Shiva in India. Visit Grishneshwar Temple in the afternoon along with nearby Ellora Caves.

Day-3 Travel to Nanded via Aundha Nagnath Temple. Evening visit to the Hazur Sahib Gurdwara. Travel to Nanded via Aundha Nagnath Temple (380 kms - 7.5 hours). Nanded is a renowned Sikh Pilgrimage destination and home to Hazur Sahib Gurudwara (one of the five Takhts). Aundha Nagnath Temple is a Lord Shiva temple at 64 kms from Nanded and believed by many as one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temple. Evening visit to the Hazur Sahib Gurdwara.

Day-4 Morning Excursion to Parli Baidyanath Temple and then proceed to Latur  Morning excursion to visit Parli Baidyanath temple (105 kms - 2.5 hours). Parli Baidynath Temple, also referred to as Parli Vaijnath temple and believed by many as one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples. Proceed to Latur (130 kms - 2.5 hours) in the afternoon. Latur is a mid-way between Solapur and Nanded.

Day-5 Visit Tulja Bhawani Temple and Akkalkot. Visit Tulja Bhawani Temple (85 kms - 2 hours), one of the Shaktipeetha temples and Akkalkot (74 kms - 2 hours), where Swami Samarth took his Mahasamadhi and now a major pilgrim centre. Settle at Solapur (28 kms - 1 hour) by evening. Solapur is a base point to visit renowned pilgrimage of Pandharpur, Tulja Bhawani and Akkalkot.

Day-6 Pandharpur visit enroute Kolhapur. Evening Visit to Mahalaxni Temple. Travel to Kolhapur (257 kms - 5.5 hours). Enroute visit Pandharpur (73 kms from Solapur), a renowned Vithoba pilgrimage (incarnation of Lord Vishnu). Kolhapur is a base point to visit Mahalaxmi Temple (A Shaktipeetha) and Jyotiba (a local pilgrimage). Evening visit to Mahalaxmi Temple.

Day-7 Visit Jyotiba Temple and proceed for Pune Visit Jyotiba Temple (3100 ft asl - 24 kms - 1 hour), a renowned local pilgrimage. Proceed to Pune (250 kms - 5 hours). Pune is a mini metro and base point to visit Ashtavinayak Temples (Eight Lord Ganesha Temples visited as a circuit) and Bhimashankar (100 kms and one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temples).

Day-8 Visit Ozar and Lenyadri Ashtaviyak Temples via Narayangaon and on return visit Bhimashankar Temple Visit Ozar and Lenyadri Ashtaviyak Temples (Lenyadri requires few hudred steps to Climb) via Narayangaon and on return take a detour to visit Bhimashankar Temple (One of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temples) and Mahaganapati Temple at Ranjangaon (Ashtaviyanak Temple) near Pune.

Day-9 Take Solapur Road and visit three Ashtavinayak Temples Take Solapur Road and visit three Ashtavinayak Temples (Theur near Pune (25 kms), Morgaon (60 kms from Theur - 1.5 hour) and Siddhtek (70 kms from Morgaon - 2 hours)). Return to Pune (105 kms - 2.5 hours) by evening.

Day-10 Visit Ashtavinayak Temples near Khopoli and at Pali before returning to Mumbai / Pune Visit Ashtavinayak Temples near Khopoli (Varad Vinayak Mahad) and at Pali (Ballareshwar Pali) before returning to Mumbai / Pune.

Aurangabad :

  • Grishneshwar Temple - Grishneshwar Temple is set near Ellora and is recognised as one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Shiva Temples.

  • Shirdi Saibaba Temple - Shirdi Saibaba temple is located at the heart of the Shirdi town and houses the samadhi (burial site) of Sai Baba. Shirdi is one of the most visited temples in India and now an international renowned pilgrim centre for devotees of Saibaba.

  • Aundha Nagnath Temple - Aundha Nagnath Temple is a Lord Shiva temple and a pilgrim centre. The temple is considered by many as one of the Twelve Jyotirlingas.

  • Parli Vaijnath Temple - Parli Vaijnath is home to a Lord Shiva Temple that is considered by many as one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples.

Kolhapur :

  • Mahalaxmi Temple Kolhapur - Mahalaxmi Temple is an Ancient Devi Temple and one of the Shaktipeetha temple and prime reason for guests visiting Kolhapur.

  • Jyotiba Temple - Jyotiba Temple is a local pilgrim centre near Kolhapur. The deity is incarnation of three gods: Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesha. Jyotiba is set on height and is well visited all through the year.

Nanded :

  • Aundha Nagnath Temple - Aundha Nagnath Temple is a Lord Shiva temple and a pilgrim centre. The temple is considered by many as one of the Twelve Jyotirlingas.

  • Parli Vaijnath Temple - Parli Vaijnath is home to a Lord Shiva Temple that is considered by many as one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples.

Pune :

  • Chintamani Temple Theur - The Chintamani Temple of Theur at 25 kms from Pune is one of Ashtavinayak Temple, a set of eight Lord Ganesha temple visited part of a circuit.

  • Ranjangaon Mahaganapati Temple - Mahaganapati Temple at Ranjangaon near Pune is one of the eight Ashtavinayak Temples that are visited as part of a circuit.

  • Moreshwar Temple - Shri Moreshwar Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha at 64 kilometres from Pune city. The temple is the start and ending point of a pilgrimage of eight Ganesha temples called Ashtavinayaka temples.

  • Lenyadri Ashtavinayak Temple - Lenyadri Ashtavinayak Temple is one of the eight Ashtavinayak temples. The temple is set in a cave and and only one of the eight temples that requires climbing some steps to reach.

  • Ozar Ashtavinayak Temple - Shrivighnahar, Ozhar is home to one of the eight Ashtavinayak Temples. It is visited alongwith Girijatmaj, Lenyadri Ashtavinayak Temple.

  • Mahad Varad Vinayak Ashtavinayak Temple - One of the eight Ashtavinayak Temples at 6 km from Khopoli. This is well visited over weekends. From the parking area there is a 200-300 meters walk to the temple.

  • Siddhtek - Siddhtek is home to Siddhivinayak Temple, a Lord Ganesha Temple at 100 kms from Pune and one of the Ashtavinayak Temples.

  • Bhimashankar Temple - Bhimashankar Temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples of Shiva at 110 kms from Pune. Bhimashankar is also the source of the river Bhima, which eventually merges with the Krishna river.

  • Ballareshwar Pali - One of the eight Ashtavinayaka temples. Ballaleshwar is the only incarnation of Ganesha that is known by his devotees name.

Shirdi :

  • Vithoba Temple Pandharpur - Pandharpur is home to a Vithoba temple and one of the most prominent pilgrimage sites in Maharashtra. During annual Pandharpur yatra more than a million pilgrims visit.

Nanded is also an access point to visit Aundha Nagnath Temple and Shakti Peetha Temple at Mahur.

Latur - Latur is a district town on the Solapur - Nanded route. It is surrounded with many historical monuments such as Kharosa Caves and a locally significant Sri Satya Sai Baba Temple.

Solapur - Solapur is base for visiting known Pandharpur temple, Tulja Bhawani and Akkalkot pilgrm centres and access point for North Karnataka heritage circuit of Bijapur (110 kms) / Badami / Hospet.

Kolhapur - Kolhapur is situated 240 km South of Pune is a transit stay option on the Pune – Goa / Pune – Bangalore route. Kolhapur is home to Mahalaxmi temple, a Shaktipeeth.

Pune - Pune is traditionally the cultural capital of Maharashtra and now a major Software / IT / ITES / Auto Manufacturing Center and access point for Mahabaleshwar / Panchgani / Lonavala and Lavasa.
