Detailed Itinerary

Day-1 Arrival at Mumbai. Temple Visits followed by visit to the Haji Ali Dargah. Arrival at Mumbai. Mumbai is a Metro city and commercial Capital of India, and is home to many significant temples and places of pilgrimage importance. Guests may visit Mumbadevi Temple, Holy Tank at Walkeshwar, Lord Shiva Temple at Babulnath and Mahalaxmi Temple (Overlooking Arabian Sea). Thereafter pay a visit to the Haji Ali Dargah (Overlooking Arabian Sea will require 1 km walk and cannot visit the Dargah on high tide).

Day-2 Departure Early morning visit to Siddhi Vinayak Temple (Crowd is less during mornings except on Tuesdays). Guests may visit Haji Ali Dargah if they were unable to visit the previous day. Depart for onward Journey.

Mumbai :

  • Mumbadevi Temple - Mumbadevi Temple is a prominent devi temple in the old city area and it is what gives Mumbai its name. Temple is impressive and worth a visit on a Sunday. Weekdays there is a lot of traffic and no place to park in the busy narrow lanes of old city.

  • Haji Ali Dargah - Haji Ali Dargah is a 15th Century Dargah of Sayyed Peer Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, lies in the middle of Arabian sea and requires a short walk to visit. Haji Ali Dargah is one of the important landmarks of Mumbai.

  • Mahalaxmi Temple - Mahalaxmi Temple is a Devi Temple near Haji Ali overlooks Arabian Sea and is one of the most prominent temples in Mumbai.

  • Babulnath Temple - Babulnath Temple is a late 19th Century Lord Shiva Temple and one that is patronised by Gujarati community of the area.

  • Walkeshwar Temple - Walkeshwar temple is a Lord Shiva Temple at Malabar hill in South Mumbai. The temple is known as Banganga Temple because of a tank build around a perennial stream (despite being so close to the the Arabian sea) that is linked to Ramayana mythology.

  • Siddivinayak Temple - Siddhivinayak Temple is a Lord Ganesha temple at Prabhadevi area and has grown to become a pilgrim destination. Serpentine Queues on a Tuesday (Day of Lord Ganesha) of people waiting for the Darshan is seen to be believed.
