Day-1 Arrive at Ratnagiri. Proceed to Kankavli. Enroute visit Rajapur Ganga and Dhipteshwar. Arrive at Ratnagiri. Proceed to Kankavli. Enroute visit Rajapur Ganga and Dhupteshwar Temple. Time permitting visit Bhalchandra Maharaj Ashram is situated near Kankavli and where devotees arrive all through the year.
Day-2 Proceed to Malvan. Enroute visit Kunkeshwar temple and other significant temples in the area. Proceed to Malvan (90 kms - 3 hours). Enroute visit Kunkeshwar (38 kms north of Malvan, a Lord Shiva Temple on the shore), Rameshwar Temple Achara (17 kns North of Malvan, a Lord Shiva Temple) and Bharadi Devi Temple (14 kms North - East of Malvan, off the Kunkeshwar - Malvan coastal route). In the afternoon visit Devbaug area. Take a boat ride in the open sea. In the evening visit Jay Ganesh Temple in Malvan.
Day-3 Proceed to Vengurla. Enroute visit Temples. Evening visit to Ganesh Temple Redi. Proceed to Vengurla (52 kms - 2 hours). Vengurla is a coastal area renowned for its idyllic beaches and shore temples. Enroute visit Bhagawati Temple and Laxmi Narayan Temple. Enroute also visit Dhamapur Lake. In the afternoon visit Ganesh Temple and Navadurga Temple at Redi (20 kms from Vengurla). Thereafter visit Vetoba Temple (The king of ghosts or Vetal), a unique temple here near Shiroda and Purnanand Swami Math. Return to Sawantwadi.
Day-4 Departure Depart for onward journey.
Ratnagiri - Ratnagiri is the largest town in coastal Maharashtra. The area is home to fishing, iron ore and bauxite mining related industries. Bhatye beach is just 3 kms away is home to beach getaway resorts.
Kankavli - Kankavali is transit point on the Mumbai-Goa highway at about 450 kms from Mumbai (8 hours drive).
Malvan - Malvan is a compact town situated on the coast of Western India and boasts some beautiful beaches. Sindhudurg fort, Tarkarli beach, Mobar point, Chiwala beach, Tondavali beach, all attract tourists. The cuisine of this region is renowned and popularly known as Malvani cuisine.
Sawantwadi - Surrounded by beaches, thick forests, hills and valleys, Sawantwadi is a typical coastal town on NH-17 bordering neighboring Goa
