Day-1 Arrival at Coonoor Arrival at Coonoor (4500 ft asl). Possible evening visit in evening to Dolphin’s Nose point and Catherine Falls.
Day-2 Sightseeing around Coonoor Local sightseeing at Sim's park and Droog's Fort. Based on where the guest is staying, one can also opt for activities such as Horse Riding, Rock Climbing, River Crossing, Fishing (Carp and Trout), Open Jeep Rides etc. Guests can also opt for a short Nilgiri heritage train ride between Metupalayam and Ooty (Tickets to be booked in advance).
Day-3 Arrive at Ooty and sightseeing around Ooty Arrive at Ooty (7000+ ft asl) (25 kms). During the day sightseeing options closer to Ooty comprise Dodabetta Peak, Raj Bhawan, St Stephens Church, Rose garden, Botanical garden, Shooting point, Wax Museum. Boating in lake in the evening is touristy but popular.
Day-4 Half day excursion to Pykara Falls and Kalhatty Half day excursion to Pykara Falls (24 kms), Kalhatty Falls (13 kms) and Kalhatty view point (25 kms). Hang gliding is organised at Kalhatty in summer.
Day-5 Departure Depart for onward journey.
Coimbatore - Coimbatore is the second largest city in state of Tamil Nadu and a major textile and engineering hub. The plantation areas Coonnor and Valparai and hill station of ooty and kodaikanal are accessible from here.
Coonoor - Coonoor is the tea plantation area located at an altitude of 5000+ ft asl, at 19 km to the south of Ooty. Coonoor provides the traveler with the panoramic view of the green Nilgiri hills, home to a number of homestays and heritage stays. The area is excellent for bird watching.
Ooty - Ooty (7500 ft asl) is one of the premier hill stations of India. It is known for its colonial heritage feel, heritage train, tea plantations around it, a wonderful weather all through the year (especially in summer) and is home to quite a few renowned boarding schools.
