Day-1 Arrival at Manali. Visits around Manali. Arrive at Manali (6500+ ft asl). Visit Jana waterfalls, a perennial waterfall at 40 kms from Manali (Jana waterfall is perennial and it is recommended to also have lunch at one of the Dhabas around here).
Day-2 Adventure around Manali Visit Solang Valley (15 kms), hub of adventure sports in Manali such as Paragliding, Zorbing etc. Solang Valley turns into a Ski resort in Winter.
Day-3 Manali - Kaza adventurous drive via Rohtang Pass and Kunzum La pass Proceed to Kaza (12000 ft asl - 180 kms - 8 hrs) via Atal Tunnel and Kunzum-la Pass (15000+ ft asl). This drive is adventurous and passes through riverbeds, glaciers and a route with stunning Himalayan backdrop alongside.
Day-4 Ki Monastery. Visit world Visit Ki Monastery (One of the most significant and ancient monasteries in the area), Gete at 14000+ ft asl and Kibber at 14000+ ft asl are known for being the highest inhabited villages in the world).
Day-5 Kaza Excursion - Visit Tabo and Dhankar Monasteries Visit Tabo (ancient monastery set at 11000 ft asl - 55 kms) and Dhankar Monastery (1000 year old ancient monastery set at 11000 ft asl) .Reach Kaza by evening.
Day-6 Kaza - Chandertal Lake. Early departure to Chandratal lake (13000+ ft asl - 110 kms - 5 hours). Chandertal Lake is renowned for its stunning Himalayan beauty. The lake is accessible via a 4WD (8 km drive)from a point after crossing Kunzum La pass. The accommodation here is basic and therefore one has to be adventure frame of mind before considering an overnight stay at Chandertal Lake.
Day-7 Chanderatal Lake - Manali Depart for Manali (100 kms - 5 hrs). Depart for onward journey.

Kaza - Kaza (12000 ft asl) is capital of the Spiti valley and its largest town. Kaza has monasteries (Most notably Ki Monastery), World's highest inhabited villages and amazing high altitude views.
Chandertal Lake - Chandertal Lake (14000+ ft asl) is a remote high altitude lake in Lahaul / Spiti Area accessible via a 4WD from Batal near Kumzumla Pass.
