Day-1 Chandigarh - Shoja. Walks around Shoja. Travel to Shoja (8500 ft asl, 260 kms - 7 hrs). Evening walk around Shoja, time permitting or just enjoy stunning views (Himalayan views on a clear day).
Day-2 Walks around Shoja Guests have option to take walks around the area. Options here are Serolsar Lake (5 kms - half day), Waterfall point (2 hour walk), Raghupur Fort (6 kms - half day) etc.
Day-3 Shoja - Manali. Visits around Manali. Proceed to Manali (6500+ ft asl, 115 kms - 3.5 hours). Afternoon visit to local sightseeing options such as Hadimba Temple, Vashisht hot water springs, Manu Temple and Arjun Gufa.
Day-4 Rohtang Excursion. Solang Valley Adventure. Half-day excursion to Rohtang Pass (42 kms - 12000+ ft asl). Rohtang pass is one area where one may get snow in Summer. Guests enjoy snow experience (Rohtang Pass need permits as limited number of vehicles are allowed for a visit). Altenratively you may plan an excursion to Lahaul area across the renowned Atal Tunnel. On the way back visit Solang Valley, hub of adventure sports in Manali such as Paragliding, Zorbing etc. Solang Valley turns into a Ski resort in Winter.
Day-5 Manikaran or Jana Waterfalls Excursion Day excursion to Kullu Valley and Manikaran hotwater springs / Manikaran Sahib Gurdwara (80+ kms one way from Manali) or visit Jana waterfalls, a perennial waterfall at 40 kms from Manali (Jana waterfall is perennial and it is recommended to also have lunch at one of the Dhabas around here).
Day-6 Raison - Ropar Proceed to Ropar (Bharatgarh Fort) (260 kms - 6.5 hrs). Time permitting visit villages around the area.
Day-7 Around Ropar / Excursions / Picnic / Walks / treks etc. Visit Anandpur Sahib Gurdwara (20 kms) and Naina Devi Temple (43 kms) and Bhakra Nangal dam (55 kms) OR can explore fishing, bird watching, walks and forest treks around the area or spend a day with a picnic hamper on an island on Sutlej river.
Day-8 Departure Travel to Chandigarh (60 - 80 kms - 1.5 hours) and Depart for onward journey.
Chandigarh - Chandigarh is a major business centre and hub for Software, IT and ITES companies. Chandigarh is a tourist destination being a transit point for guests on Delhi - Manali route and an access point to visit neighboring hills of Himachal Pradesh and hill station of Shimla.
Shoja - Shoja (or called Sohja or Sojha) is a Himalayan hamlet (8500 ft asl) 5 kms short of Jalori Pass. The area is blessed with exceptional Himalayan beauty and is excellent for walks, treks, bird watching and a nature centric experience.
Manali - Manali (7000 ft) is a major hill station and a preferred Ex-Chandigarh weekend Getaway and a destination for Honeymooners, adventure lovers.
Ropar - Ropar lies only 50 kms from Chandigarh. The major pilgrimage destinations in Ropar comprise Naina Devi, Anandpur Sahib and Chamkaur Sahib (16 kms). The famous Bhakra dam in Nangal lies on the boundary with the neighbouring state of Himachal Pradesh.
