Day-1 Arrive at Delhi. Proceed to Chandigarh. Evening Darshan at Mansadevi Temple Arrive at Delhi. Proceed to Chandigarh. Evening Darshan at Mansadevi Temple (Panchkula)
Day-2 Travel to Chintpurni via Naina Devi Proceed to Chintpurni, Enroute visit Naina Devi temple, a renowned pilgrim centre on a hilltop that requires pilgrims to take cable car from the base of the hill. Reach Chintpurni by afternoon. Visit Chintpurni and Jwalamkuhi Shaktipeetha Temples. Visit Chintpurni Temple, dedicated to Chinnamastika Devi and one of the Shakti Peetha temples. From here proceed to Jwalamukhi (32 kms), a renowned pilgrimage centre where an eternal flame burns and is believed to be manifestation of the Goddess.
Day-3 Chintpurni - Jwalamukhi - Katra From Chintpurni Proceed to Katra (260 - 6 hours).
Day-4 Vaishnodevi Darshan Early morning start for Vaishnodevi climb (Total 13 kms walk to the temple that takes about 4-5 hours). Enroute stops at Adhkwari Temple and darshan at Baba Bhaironath Temple is recommended). During Summer and peak travel season it may be advisable to start the climb previous evening. Once queue tickets are purchased the wait period could be half an hour to 3 hours depending on the rush. During season Yatra Parchi (entry tickets required to beging the uphill walk), it is recommended to purchase in advance to avoid delays. Guests looking for Helidarshan (Helicopter ride, darshan and back), morning flights are recommeded for best weather and least uncertainity. Return by late evening.
Day-5 Katra - Chamunda Devi via Kangra Depart for Palampur via Pathankot (270 kms - 6.5 hours). Enroute visit Vrajeshwari Temple at Kangra (Shaktipeetha Temple) and Chamundadevi temple, a renowned pilgrim centre in the Kangra valley near Palampur.
Day-6 Palampur - Kalka visit Kalika Devi Temple Travel from Palampur to Kalka to visit renowned Kalika Devi Temple in town centre. Enroute visit Baijnath Temple
Day-7 Return to Delhi Via Sarhanpur visiting Shakumbhri Devi Temple Return to Delhi Via Sarhanpur visiting Shakumbhri Devi Temple (330 kms - 7 hours), a renowned Shaktipeetha Temple and a regional pilgrim centre
Day-8 Departure Depart for onward Journey
Chandigarh - Chandigarh is a major business centre and hub for Software, IT and ITES companies. Chandigarh is a tourist destination being a transit point for guests on Delhi - Manali route and an access point to visit neighboring hills of Himachal Pradesh and hill station of Shimla.
Chintpurni - Chintpurni Temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati. A revered Shakti shrine where the Goddess is worshipped in the form of a stone lingam.
Katra - Katra, is base town to visit Vaishno Devi temple which is 13 kms walk (or a helicopter ride) away from here.
Chamunda Devi - Chamunda Devi is a pilgrim town that lies in between Dharamsala (18 kms) and Palampur (15 kms).
Kalka - Kalka is a railhead at 40 kms from Chandigarh and starting point of the renowned Kalka - Shimla heritage train.
New Delhi - Delhi is the capital city of India and a major International arrival point and a major tourist destination. Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Jama Masjid, India Gate, Birla Temple, Mughal Gardens, Lodi Gardens, Rail Museum, Doll Museum, Zoological Park etc remain major tourist attractions of Delhi.
