Chandigarh - Nahan(1) - Ropar(1) - Palampur(1) - Jammu(1) - Katra(2) - Amritsar(1) - Chandigarh(1)
Day-1 Arrive at Ambala / Chandigarh. Visit Paota Sahib Arrive at Ambala / Chandigarh and proceed to Paonta Sahib (100 kms from Ambala - 2.5 hours), one of the most revered Gurudwaras as it is believed that Guru Gobind Singh's wrote many Sikh religious books here.
Day-2 Renukaji - Anandpur Sahib Proceed to Renuka Lake and Renukaji Temple (44 kms). Renuka Tirth is considered as birth place of Lord Parshuram, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Further proceed to Anandpur Sahib (a Sikh Pilgrimage Centre and one of the five Takhts) and reach Ropar by evening.
Day-3 Naina Devi - Chintpurni - Jwalamukhi Visit Naina Devi Temple (22 kms from Anandpur Sahib), a renowned pilgrim centre on a hilltop that requires pilgrims to take cable car from the base of the hill. Proceed to Chintpurni (108 kms), dedicated to Chinnamastika Devi and one of the Shakti Peetha temples. From here proceed to Jwalamukhi (32 kms), a renowned pilgrimage centre where an eternal flame burns and is believed to be manifestation of the Goddess. Proceed to Palampur (95 kms - 1.5 kms).
Day-4 Chamunda Devi - Brajeshwari - Jammu Visit Chamundadevi Temple near Palampur (15 kms). Chamundadevi is a renowned pilgrim centre in the Kangra valley area. From Chamundadevi proceed to Vajreshvari Temple in Kangra Town (50 kms), one of the Shaktipeetha Temples.
Day-5 Jammu - Katra Visit temples of Jammu (Raghunath Mandir, Bawe Wali Mata Temple, Peer Kho Cave Temple, Ranbireshwar Temple) and reach Katra (50 kms from Jammu - 1.5 hours), base town to visit Vaishnodevi temple by evening.
Day-6 Vaishnodevi Darshan Early morning start for Vaishnodevi climb (Total 13 kms walk to the temple that takes about 4-5 hours). Enroute stops at Adhkwari Temple and darshan at Baba Bhaironath Temple is recommended). During Summer and peak travel season it may be advisable to start the climb previous evening. Once queue tickets are purchased the wait period could be half an hour to 3 hours depending on the rush. During season Yatra Parchi (entry tickets required to beging the uphill walk), it is recommended to purchase in advance to avoid delays. Guests looking for Helidarshan (Helicopter ride, darshan and back), morning flights are recommeded for best weather and least uncertainity. Return by late evening.
Day-7 Katra - Amritsar. Visit Golden Temple in the evening. Proceed to Amritsar (250 kms - 6 hours). Evening visit Golden temple, the most revered pilgrim centre for Sikh, one of the five Takhts and a renowed tourist attraction.
Day-8 Amritsar - Chandigarh. Mansadevi Darshan. Proceed to Chandigarh (250 kms - 5 hours). Visit Mansadevi Temple at Panchkula (near Chandigarh), a renowned local pilgrimage centre.
Day-9 Departure Visit the Chandidevi temple and depart for the onward journey.
Nahan - Nahan is a nature centric getaway and base town to visit Renuka Lake, a local pilgrim centre.
Ropar - Ropar lies only 50 kms from Chandigarh. The major pilgrimage destinations in Ropar comprise Naina Devi, Anandpur Sahib and Chamkaur Sahib (16 kms). The famous Bhakra dam in Nangal lies on the boundary with the neighbouring state of Himachal Pradesh.
Palampur - Palampur also known as the 'Tea Capital of North India,' is a popular hill station. Palampur is rich in historic temples and forts and known for its spectacular himalayan views.
Jammu - Jammu is a point of access for visiting Vaishnodevi Temple, which is 13 km walk from Katra (50 km from Jammu) and home to Raghunath Temple.
Katra - Katra, is base town to visit Vaishno Devi temple which is 13 kms walk (or a helicopter ride) away from here.
Amritsar - Amritsar is a major destination in India where guests arrive to visit the "Golden Temple", a Sikh pilgrimage center and a major tourist attraction from visitors all over India and those arriving into India.
Chandigarh - Chandigarh is a major business centre and hub for Software, IT and ITES companies. Chandigarh is a tourist destination being a transit point for guests on Delhi - Manali route and an access point to visit neighboring hills of Himachal Pradesh and hill station of Shimla.
