Day-1 Arrival at Rajkot and travel to Nakhatrana. Evening Safari to Banni Grassland area Arrival at Rajkot and proceed to Nakhatrana (285 kms - 4.5 hrs). Nakhatrana is base point to visit Banni Grasslands, Chhari - Fulay Lake area and Tropical Thor Forest which are considered excellent for Bird watching for Migratory birds in Winter. Evening Safari at Banni Grasslands Area (20 kms). Banni Grasslands are spread over 8500 sq kms and home to more than 200 varieites of Birds. Grey Hypocolius is one of the most sought after birds here. Other birds here include Eagles, Harriers, Shrikes, Wheatears etc.
Day-2 Morning Safari at Fulay area and evening safari at Thor Forest Morning Safari at the Fulay area. Chhari - Fulay area is renowned for a shallow lake (80 sq km) where migratory waterbirds arrive in large numbers in Winter including Greater and Lesser Flamingos. Evening Safari through Tropical Thor forest where some rare and much vaunted birds like White napped Tit, Striolated Buting, Common Iora and Small Minivet can be spotted.
Day-3 Morning Safari around Lakes of Nakhatrana and departure for onward journey Morning safari in and around Village Ponds / Lakes of Nakhatrana for Waterbirds and depart for onward journey.
