Day-1 Arrival at Goa and proceed to Mollem Arrive at Goa and proceed to Mollem (46 kms from Karmali and 68 kms from Dabolim). Mollem Sanctuary (also known as Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary) is renowned for exclusive bird watching experience that it offers.
Day-2 Walking around Mollem Sanctuary in morning and afternoon. Evening visit to Tambdi Surla Temple for bird watching. Walking around Mollem Sanctuary in morning and afternoon. The Forest is thick. Villages around the area is excellent for common birs like Babblers, Bee Eaters, Munias etc. Forest areas are home to three varieties of Hornbills and many bird varieties that are not otherwise seen commonly. Evening visit to Tambdi Surla Temple for bird watching to explore that side of the forest. There are treks that originate from Tambdi Surla Temple to a nearby waterfall (3 kms) and enroute some elusive birds can be found (e.g. Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher)
Day-3 Morning visit to nearby Bondla Sanctuary before Departure Morning visit to nearby Bondla Sanctuary before Departure. Bondla Sanctuary entrance has an open area where one can find more than 50 varieties of birds on any morning. Birds found here include Lesser Golden Backed Kingfisher, Common Iora, Indian Blackbird, Dusky Crag Martin etc.
Dabolim - Dabolim lies on nothern tip of South Goa near Vasco and home to only Airport in Goa.
Mollem - Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park is a 240 square kms area in the Western Ghats of Goa at 57 kms east of Panjim and is approachable via National Highway 4A.
