Bateshwar Fair is a renowned Cattle Fair around Bateshwar Temples (70 kms South of Agra) that provides a rare and authentic glimpse into the heart of rural India.

Cattle fair of Bateshwar is followed by Bateshwar Religious Fair (after a week). The Fairgrounds are located around the Bateshwar Temples. This festival has a weeklong duration full of festivities where large numbers of locals arrive from nearby villages. Bateshwar area (and surrounding Bah) converts itself into a Carnival atmosphere with shops, rides and eventful festivities.

The fair is a great attraction to Inbound traveller who can see the real India in a form that is much more original than some of the other hyped festivals in India.
