    Kolukkumalai Tea estate is worlds highest grown Orthodox tea estate spread over 1500 acres The process of tea making here is certified organic.The factory at the center of the estate was built 70 years ago. It uses traditional techniques and is a draw for tea enthusiasts and experiential travellers. Orthodox tea-making is a seven-step process that includes withering, rolling, sieving, fermenting, drying, fiber extraction and grading.
