    Jaipur Zoo was opened in 1877 and is located within the city. It is divided into two parts: one for mammals and other for birds and reptiles. Nearly 70 species of different birds and animals from all over the world can be seen here. The Zoo is open to public everyday except on Tuesday. Animals at the zoo include spotted deer and Sambar deer, lions, tigers, white tigers, panthers, leopards, foxes, jackals, hyenas, brown bears, and black bear. The zoo includes a crocodile breeding farm. A separate section of the zoo is home to birds including ducks, geese, parrots, pheasants, lorries, and peacocks. Other birds that migrate through the bird section include painted storks, pelicans, cranes, black-necked storks, and white ibis.

    Ladli is a Vocational school for rescued street chidren. They welcome visitors and sell the jewelry the children have made.     Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) is a multi arts centre in Jaipur. It was built by Rajasthan government with the purpose of preserving Rajasthani arts and crafts. The centre has been made in eight blocks housing museums, one amphi theatre and closed auditorium, library, arts display rooms, cafeteria, small hostel and art-studio. It also houses two permanent art galleries and three other galleries. and host its own theatre festival each year.

    Galtaji (Outskirts of Jaipur) has been a retreat for Hindu ascetics since the early 1500s and current temple was built in 18th Century. The temple features a number of pavilions with rounded roofs, carved pillars, and painted walls. There is a Balaji temple and a temple dedicated to Sun god (Surya). The temple is also known as the Monkey temple, due to the large tribe of rhesus macaques living here. The temple is famous for its natural water springs. which draw special attention of the visitors especially on Makar Sakranti day (14th Jan, day of the kite festival).

    Amer Fort is located in Amer, 12 kilometres from Jaipur. It is one of the principal tourist attractions of Jaipur, located high on a hill. Amer Fort was built in 18th century and is known for its artistic style. With its large ramparts, series of gates and cobbled paths, the fort overlooks the Maota Lake, at its forefront. The fort is a must for its different areas, its spread over 4 levels and its aesthetic ambiance. The areas comprise Diwan-e-Aam or the "Hall of Public Audience", the Diwan-e-Khas or the "Hall of Private Audience", the Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace) or Jai Mandir, and the Sukh Niwas where a cool climate is artificially created by winds that blow over the water cascade within the palace. There is also a stepwell nearby that could be an interesting visit for any traveller.

    Jaigarh Fort is situated at 15 kms from Jaipur, a couple kms from Amber Fort overlooking a lake and towers above Amber fort and was once home to Mughal Cannon foundry and today is a popular option for guests to arrive for a view of the aravalli hills and Jaivana cannon once renowned as the largest cannon on wheels in the world.
