Ladakh is a Union Territory in North India having destinations at altitudes of 9000 to 15000 ft asl. Ladakh is home to diverse range of birds and Wildlife. IBEX, Blue Sheep, Marmot, Tibetan Wild Ass, Tibetan Antelopes, Bharal (Blue Sheep), Palla's Cat, Snow Fox are some of the species for which Photographers look for in Ladakh. 

Ladakh is also a Winter Destination for Wildlife travellers arriving specifically to Photograph Snow Leopards. There are lodges that specialise in this area.
