The Netherlands borders Germany to the east, Belgium to the south, and France to the west. The Netherlands is synonymous for its windmills, clogs, tulips, canals, cheese market practically everything that you would expect to find in a charming and picturesque country. It is a very lively country with teeming nightlife and lots of day activities.

Amsterdam as a capital is infamous for its nightlife but Indian couples still make it there for the sheer intrigue. Netherlands (commonly called as Holland) as a destination can be covered in 3-4 days and therefore works as a popular extension to a Europe trip. Netherlands countryside is renowned for its canal network and flower fields (blooming around mid-April).

The Netherlands' climate is quite similar to that of England, featuring temperate and changeable conditions all year round, with lots of rainfall and best visited between April and September.
