Greece is located in the southernmost tip of Europe, thus, blessed with a glorious coastline of the Mediterranean Sea. It shares borders in the north with Albania, Macedonia (FYROM), Bulgaria, and Turkey. Greece has a long history dated nearly 4000 years.  Greece is home to some of the most romantic and popular islands such as Santorini and Mykonos.

Santorini and Mykonos are featured in bollywood movies and therefore attracts many Indian honeymooners and holiday travellers. There are actually over 2,000 islands having gorgeous beaches, ancient ruins, colourful harbours and active volcanoes. The country attracts the maximum European visitors in the summer months and young couples and honeymooners year round.

Greece is a popular destination visited as part of Mediterranean Cruises circuit. There are number cruises operating in Summer months out of Spain or Turkey that cover Island destinations of Greece.

Athens is perfect for history lovers. Summers are hot and dry with a 7-month period of near-constant sunshine generally from April until November. For some sun, sand, history or even romance, Greece is the perfect holiday destination for any kind of traveller.
