Dayara Bugyal is one of the beautiful meadows (10,000 - 12,000 ft. asl) in the Uttarkashi area of Uttarakhand. Dayara Bugyal is renowned for its stunning Himalayan views and moderate difficulty trekking.

A typical Dayara Bugyal trek at Barsu a beautiful Garhwali village from where one treks through deodhar forests and meadows. A further climb takes one above treeline to Dayara Bugyal spread over 28 sq km. Here one gets most stunning views of Banderpuch, Draupadi-ka-danda, Janoli and Gangotri group of peaks.

The trek is a moderate difficulty trek and offers a mixture of lush green landscapes, thick forests, undulating Bugyals and views of snow capped mountain ranges. The trek is recommended for those looking for a Himalayan trekking experience at a moderate difficulty level.

Best season to visit Dayara Bugyals is May-June and Oct – Nov (July – Sept is monsoon season).
