Sentosa Island and Universal Studios are a set of theme parks on Sentosa Island that are most popular with locals and tourists to Singapore.
Sentosa Island for over a decade has been a fun and recreation centre for tourists. There is an underwaterpark, dolphin show, 3-D show, cable car ride, a beach front, adventure rides and laser show in the evening, all combine to make for an excellent half-day post lunch outing.
Universal Studios have a Singapore extension of its Theme Park on Sentosa Island. Universal Studios celebrates many of its Hollywood movies and has created many a themes to enthrall guests. There are swings, 3-D clips, roller coaster, shows and some very exciting rides. Guests can easily spend 5-6 hours here. On a weekend when locals throng around here, therefore its advisable for guests to choose a weekday or else wait times queuing up for the rides could really be arduous.
Meals option here are limited and can cost quite a bit and therefore value conscious guests are advised to pack some sandwiches and soft drink bottles in advance.
Rail Access - There is an extension of monorail available from Harbourfront station (Via Vivocity Mall) and one is able to reach directly via that connection to Universal studio as well as Sentosa Island.
Stay - For who do not wish to do to and fro and are looking to explore Sentosa thoroughly or just relax by the beach prefer to stay at one of the destination resorts in Sentosa that allows guests to experience an integrated getaway around these theme parks
