Siolim Cooking School is set adjacent to Casa Palacio Siolim House and is one of a kind experience where guests learn to Cook Goan Cuisine, Raw Food Cuisine or even French Bakery / Pastry while on a holiday.
Here one can learn to cook traditional Goan food with local chefs. Guests also have an option to be taken to a local fish market to pick-up the fresh catch and each after its cooked at the end of the classes.
There is wide range of Non Vegetarian / Seafood and Vegetarian dishes to learn, based on what one is looking to learn, cook and eat.
It’s a half-day programme with typical itinerary looks like this
# 9:30am: Meeting point at Siolim House with a cup of tea
# 10:00am: Group tour to the fish market at the traditional Siolim Tar to learn how to choose the fresh day catch
# 10:30am: Back to Little Siolim and cooking class with local cooks Jane and auntie Lourdes
# 13:30 am: Gastronomic lunch to taste your self cooked dishes.
Siolim Cooking School is very popular with overseas nationals arriving in Goa during Winter (Oct – March) and provides a welcome variety to what otherwise always is a typical Goan holiday.
Siolim Cooking School is recommended for Cookery centric groups looking for a mix of cooking, eating and fun holiday.
