Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is a very sacred and an important temple in Maharashtra and one of the most visited temples in India. Shirdi temple built on the Samadhi of Sai Baba and gets visitors from all over India especially from Maharashtra and neighboring states of Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.

Thursday and Sat/Sun are peak days for darshan and it could take as much as 3-4 hours to get darshan on these days. Darshan starts at 5 AM in the morning and open till 9 PM in the evening (except Aarti times in between)

Shirdi is day visited from Mumbai is one is able to travel 10 hours a day. Shirdi earlier happened to be just a pilgrim town and therefore not meriting a stay except in transit. However there have been spa resorts, malls and better eateries opened to make it into an all round destination where general pilgrimage guests stay anywhere upto 2 nights and ardent Sai Baba devotees can stay upto a week.
