Sarahan (6500+ ft asl) is situated 165 kms from Shimla and few kilometers off the Hindustan Tibet Road (NH-22). Sarahan overlooks splendid Himalaya views. Sarahan is visited for the ancient Bhimakali temple regarded as one of the Fifty One sacred Shakti Peetha. The temple of made of a unique age old architecture and is fully made of wood.

The temple presents an excellent luncheon stopover for guests travelling from Narkanda / Thanedar (100 kms) to Sangla (85 kms). Guests traveling from Shimla can also consider a stopover.
