Saputara (2500+ ft asl) is a hill station and a weekend getaway 255 kms from Mumbai and 85 kms from Nashik. Saputara lies on border of Maharashtra and Gujarat and is the only hill station in Gujarat State. Saputara comes alive in monsoon with hundreds of waterfalls about the area, which gets a lot misty and therefore visited especially by those who want to enjoy rain.
Ropeway remains the prime attraction for the tourists alongwith the lake. There are some typical touristy sightseeing possibilities such as visit to view points, echo point, honey bee center, museum etc.
