Nubra Valley in Ladakh is an area renowned for its duality in landscape and stunning panoramas. Nubra Valley boasts of high latitude desert but is still one of the greenest areas of Ladakh and often referred to as Valley of Flowers. Nubra Valley is home to Bacterian Camels and is one of the most scenic areas of Ladakh. Most stunning and unusual sights in Nubra valley is Sand Dunes and greenery beyond in the same backdrop. Diskit Monastery, Hundar Village and other sights in the area combine to give a memorable experience.

Nubra Valley is typically visited as part of any Ladakh itinerary ex-Leh via Khardung La Pass. Khardung La Pass itself presents a spectacular panorama of snow clad mountains and often travelers are able to touch and feel snow here in months of June and July.

Season and Stay duration – Sector opens in Mid-May till about Mid-Oct. June- Sept is the best time to travel. One night stay is common but two night stay is recommended for Photography oriented travelers to Nubra valley
