Nanded is a major Sikh pilgrimage centre and home to Sach Khand Huzur Sahib Gurdwara, one of the Five Takhts of Sikhism and therefore most important from pilgrimage perspective.
 
Nanded is also a base point to visit Aundha Nagnath Shiva Temple (64 kms), believed to be one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlinga temples. Mahurgarh near Nanded (120 kms) is home to Renuka temple, which is considered one of the Shakti Peetha.
