Matheran Trek Via Dodhani - Karjat - Ex-Mumbai
Sahyadri Ranges in Maharashtra is full of medieval forts, ancient caves and temples that are historically connected to Raja Shivaji, the great Maratha warrior. Matheran is known to most Mumbaikars, as a quick holiday getaway. But it also draws several trekkers trying some easy trek approaches up to the plateau. Matheran has many routes to reach. One from Neral side and other from Karjat Side. Matheran Trek Via Dodhani trek one takes the Karjat route starting from Dodhani village. An easy ascend on a well-defined path through thick forests will get you to the Matherean plateau.
