Kausani Views in Summer

Kausani (7000+ ft asl) is a Himalayan Hamlet in Kumaon at 100 kms from Nainital and 400 kms from Delhi.

Kausani is a popular stopover that connects Garhwal to Kumaon areas. Guests often coming back from Haridwar-Rishikesh-Auli / Badrinath route take a detour to cover Corbett via Karnaprayag (110 kms) and take a stopover halt at Kausani.

There are practically no views on offer in Summer and only sightseeing option is the Baijnath temple (22 kms), so Kausani is looked upon favorably by guests beyond being an excellent stopover.

Guests looking for a Summer destination may opt for Almora / Ranikhet instead which are closer to Nainital / Delhi and have a few sightseeing options.

Typical Stay: 1 night
