Views from Kasauli

Kasauli (5900 ft als) is a cantonment town, located at 65 kilometres from Chandigarh, off Kalka - Shimla highway.

Kasauli is closest from Chandigarh from where one can see snow peak views. It also snows sometimes in Winter. There are a number of getaway resorts that have come up in the area and serve as an excellent hill side local getaway.

The area is full of wooded walks and colonial era architecture buildings add to the charm of the area. There are a couple of view points and a sunset point and even a “Manki Point” with Ramayana significance. What gets Kasauli the guests is its complete off-beat air and nature centric experience.

Stay Duration: 2 nights ex-Delhi. Local getaway seekers from Chandigarh may just spend a night.

Seasonality: Visited all round the year.
