Narayan Sarovar Lake is located at 155 kms from Bhuj and ancient Koteshwar temple lays only 4 kms away from here. The Koteshwar temple is a renowned Lord Shiva temple. There are thousand sacred lingas dedicated to lord Shiva are found in the temple.
Narayan Sarovar is one of the most sacred sites in Hindu religion and is considered to be the third sacred lake after Mansarovar Lake (Tibet) & Manimahesh Lake (Chamba, Dalhousie).
The lake is devoted to lord Vishnu but in this place there are Vaishnav temples of Shri Trikamraiji, Laxminarayan, Govardhannathji, Dwarkanath, Adinarayan, Ranchodraiji and Laxmiji.
Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya during his lifetime is said to have visited Narayan Sarovar and spent time here as the site is sacred also for follower of Pushtimarg.
Narayan Sarovar is visited as a day excursion from Bhuj.
Season – Visited throughout the year (Winters are better from weather point of view)
