Greater Addo National Park is located on outskirts of Port Elizabeth and is the only park in the world to house Africa's "Big 7" (elephant, rhinoceros, lion, buffalo, leopard, whale and great white shark) in their natural habitat.

Greater Addo National Park offers guests on the garden route an excellent wildlife game safari option. Addo National Park is home to 450 elephants, 400 Cape buffalo, endangered black rhinos, Anteplopes, Lions etc. The park lies in close proximity to Bird Island which is home to the world's largest breeding colony of gannets - about 120,000 birds - and also hosts the second largest breeding colony of African penguins.

The park receives about 120,000 visitors annually and is a popular option for guests on the Garden Route.
