Jaipur is renowned for its offering of rich and delectable Rajasthani ethnic cuisine. The Marwari community is purely vegetarian and a lot of offering in Jaipur including the renowned Chokhi Dhani are veg-only offerings that comprise world-renowned Dal Baati Churma, Missi Roti, kachori, gatte ki kadi, pickles, chatnis and papad. For those with sweet tooth, dishes like Ghevar, Feeni, Gajak, Chauguni ke laddu, Moong Thal are very well known and are easily available in any sweet shop across the street.
The Rajput cuisine has a pronounced non-vegetarian element, most known amongst that is a mutton variety called lal maas. Private dining for guests can be arranged for an authentic Rajput cuisine experience.
