Deogarh is a small farming village near Lalitpur bordering Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Deogarh is renowned for its Gupta era monuments. Monuments are located on and near the hill fort on the right bank of the Betwa River. A number of ancient monuments of Hindu and Jain origins are found within and outside the walls of the fort

Deogarh is visited alongwith Chanderi Jain Temples. Deogarh is also an easy day train from Jhansi and guests traveling to Orchha can make a day visit to Deogarh.
