Dudhwa National Park is situated bordering Nepal at about 220 kms from Lucknow.  Dudhwa Tiger Reserve comprises of two core areas - Dudhwa National Park and the Kishanpur Wildlife sanctuary. It is a protected forest area spread over 883 square km. and is a part of the Project Tiger initiative.
Flora Fauna found here are Sal, Shisham, Khair, Bahera, Jamun with over 400 species of birds like Drongos, Barbets, Cormorants, Ducks, Geese, Hornbills, Minivets, Kingfishers, Sarus Cranes, Owls etc Its considered one of the richest in bird life and recommended for any bird watcher.
Game drives in Open 4WD safari vehicle, Game viewing on elephant back inside the national park, Guided jungle walks and Motor boating and lunch on the banks of a river can be arranged.
There are limited lodges here and only one lodge, Jambolana Safari camp catering to good wildlife centric guest segment.
