Rajaji National Park is a wildlife and bird watching getaway and an Elephant corridor in the foothills of Himalayas. Rajaji National Park is visited ex-Haridwar (25 kms) / Rishikesh (40 kms).

Rajaji National park is home to 23 species of mammals and 315 species of birds are also found most prominent include peafowl, woodpeckers, pheasants, kingfishers and barbets and migratory species during the winter months.

Stream of migratory birds like Himalayan Pied Kingfisher, White Capped and Plumbeous Redstarts arrive between Oct-Feb and that’s the typical season to visit Rajaji National Park.

As number of lodges in the area is very limited and park is large, its excellent for those interested in Bird, landscape and nature photography. In summer wild elephant herds are commonly found as well.

Recommended Stay: 2-3 nights Season : Oct - Feb.
