The six most sacred abodes of Hindu god Lord Murugan called as "Aarupadaiveedu". They are spread all over Tamilnadu. The six abodes are:
Palani Murugan Temple (100 km south east of Coimbatore)
Swamimalai (Near Kumbakonam)
Thiruthani (84 km from Chennai)
Pazhamudircholai (10 km north of Madurai)
Thiruchendur (40 km south of Thoothukudi or Tuticorin)
Thiruparamkunram (10 km south of Madurai).
Above 6 can be visited part of a single circuit within 3 days.
