- UP - MP
border in the Chambal valley.
Declared a natural
sanctuary, this relatively untouched area is teeming
with migratory birds, wildlife (Crocodiles, Aligators,
Dolphins). A motor
boat cruise on the chambal river will reveal endemic Gharial,
Marsh crocodiles, the highly endangered Gangetic
Dolphin and rare birds like the Indian Skimmer.

Safari Lodge is a 100+ year old, 100 acre estate built
like a relaxing nature centric retreat. Cottage
accommodation provide a charming stay overlooking
trees all around. There are two rooms in the heritage
wing that will provide heritage charm and a feel of
little luxury.

are homely and made out of local recipes and made out of locally sourced and home grown organic
ingredients.

specifically for Birders, families and nature centric
guests. Chambal Safari lodge is a popular option with
birders and is typically connected with Ranthambhore
and Bharatpur to make it into a Birding
Itinerary. For other guests Chambal Safari Lodge
can be a standalone off-beat getaway or can be
combined with Agra for a short-break.
