Zaffer Houseboats are located at Nagin Lake which is one end of the famous Dal Lake at Srinagar (Kashmir, India).

The houseboats are grand with hand - carved furniture and rich Kashmiri carpets. The rooms are well furnished with wall to wall carpet, attached bath.

Each houseboat has between two and four bedrooms in it with attached bathrooms and a common sitting and dining room.

  • Each houseboat has an attached cook boat at the rear from where the food is served to the visitor lodging in the boat. 

  • It is moored on the banks of the lake and remains floating but stationary. 

  • The cooks are skilled in preparing Continental, Indian and Kashmiri Dishes. 

  • The meals served during the day comprise of Bed-Tea, Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea and Dinner.

  • The cook boat is moored a stem of the main boat which also houses the servants. 

  • Boats are electrified, and the interior decoration has something typical of what Kashmir has to offer.

Access: There are regular flights from Delhi which is the best Access point for Srinagar. Otherwise nearest Railhead is Jammu which is 300 kms away.
