Short-Break Itineraries in Uttaranchal (4-6 nights)

Considering that Kumaon and Garhwal have large number of destinations that are close to each other, its almost impossible to list all the permutations and combinations. So following are the few short-break combination options that guests like and have chosen in past. The Short-breaks can be either Ex-Delhi or Ex-Kathgodam or Ex-Haridwar / Rishikesh.

Summer

Kumaon

Note: Himalayan Views are available only during Oct-March.

Hotel Options - Rishikesh / Haridwar - Musoorie - Corbett - Kumaon

Access - Delhi Airport is an International Airport at about 280 kms (6 hours - 7 hours Drive) from Corbett and 325  kms from Nainital. Kathgodam is an overnight train journey from Delhi. Pantnagar at 50 kms from Corbett and 70 kms from Nainital also gets Flights from Jagson Airways from Delhi and can be used to cut down driving Time from Delhi.

Airport at Jolly Grant near Dehradun and Rishikesh is under modernisation till March 2008 and therefore till then Train to Rishikesh (250 kms from Delhi) / Haridwar (220 kms from Delhi) is the best option for access points for short-break itineraries stated above (Beside Road option from Delhi).
