One - Arrive at Camp Forktail Creek Arrive
at Camp Forktail Creek by lunch. After wash and change and a sumptuous lunch,
we would take you on an escorted nature and bird walk into the Sal forests surrounding
camp. It is an excellent opportunity to walk in the cool of the forest, to be
so close to nature and to appreciate the varied plants, insects, birds, mammals
and reptiles that inhabit this part of the country. THE QUIETER YOU ARE, THE MORE
YOU WILL SEE. Back to camp by sundown
for campfire and dinner, which is leisurely and personal. Along with the excellent
cuisine, your guide and hosts will amuse and amaze you with their stories of exciting
experiences. Then it is time to relax once again and enjoy carefree chatter by
the fireside whilst feasting on the unique sounds and smells that your exclusive
location offers, before retiring to bed with only canvas separating you from the
Indian jungles. Day
Two Whole Day angling on the

morning depart from Camp by jeep for the Ramganga
River with your fishing guide and
a packed meal. Whole day would be
spent angling on the Ramganga
River . The
Ramganga River
is divided into four fishing beats. You would spend your day on either
one of them. Drive back to Camp by evening for campfire and dinner. Overnight
at Camp Forktail Creek. Day
Three Camp Forktail Creek to upper
Ramganga River
Depart
early morning by jeep for the upper Ramganga section, a drive of 4 hours from
Camp. Arrive at the campsite by the river- packed breakfast on the way.
The
whole day would be spent on various sections of the river with a picnic lunch.
Back
to the campsite by evening for dinner and overnight stay in camping tents.
Day Four Whole Day angling
on the upper
Ramganga River
Get
on the river early morning with your fishing guide. Whole day angling on this
section, which promises some exciting fishing. Back to the base camp by evening
for dinner and overnight stay in camping tents. Day Five
Upper Ramganga
to Camp Forktail Creek Half
day angling on the upper Ramganga
River . Pack up and drive back to
Camp Forktail Creek by late noon . Arrive at Camp Forktail Creek by evening
for campfire and dinner. Dinner and overnight at Camp.
Day Six Depart
for onward destination Depart
after breakfast for onward destination. Cost:

- This
is a specially designed angling tour on the Ramganga
River . The trip involves assisted
overnight camping by the Ramganga
River with back up jeep support.
- Accommodation
in Camp is in large safari tents elevated on wooden floors, each with a fully
functional toilet.
- Accommodation
in camping tents would come with a mattress and duvets. The toilet would be a
dry pit with a thunder box on top, enclosed in large tent.
- Meals
would be lavish and a mix of Indian or Continental cuisine.
- A
fishing guide, cooks and camp staff would escort the trip when camping out.
- The
costs include all boarding, lodging and all activities as mentioned in the tour
plan, as well as angling permits (but not equipment used for angling). Mineral
water and aerated drinks are included in the cost, however alcoholic beverages
and other such expenses of personal nature are not included in the cost.
