Manali
(50 kms from Bhuntar Airport near Kullu) is one of the major tourist destinations
in India and visited all round the year. During Summer (April - July) its visited
for its good weather, rafting in River Beas and activities in the Solang Area
(15 kms ahead of Manali). Manali
is also a relaxing hill station with himalayan views all around it. Manali has
some good luxury resorts that are ideal for a relaxing weekend getaway such as

to these there are a few resorts that are not as high priced but still offer charming
and relaxing accommodation such as Nature

Valley at about 100 kms from Manali is a known destination for Trout Fishing. Manali
in Winter is visited for Skiing and also a destination for sports like Heli skiing. Manali
during June-September is visited by overseas guests for the Manali to Leh drive
which is considered one of the most scenic and adventurous drives in the world
and considered one of the must visit experience for the adventure oriented tourists. Kullu
is famous for its Apples and visited during late-September / early October for
the Kullu Dussera Festival. For
