The Himalayan Village
is a resort that has been built
in a traditional architecture and is a place to rejuvenate on the foothills of the famous
Malana village at just
10 km short of Manikaran (Himachal
Pradesh, India).
Manikaran is famous for its hot water springs, right on the bank of ice
cold parvati river. A highly revered pilgrimage being the
tapobhoomi of Bholenath (Lord Shiva) for 11000 yrs &
is a pilgrimage destination for Hindu and Sikh and several
temple and gurudwara of pilgrimage importance are located
here.
Manikaran
is also base point for several treks around the area. Guests
staying at Manali (65 km) typically do a day visit to
Manikaran to visit the Temple and Springs. However guests
interested in trekking a stay is recommended as the valley has good treks, majestic flower
valleys, thick flora and fauna, crystal clear waterfalls &
rivers, The village has thick deodar (pine) forest.
