Tarangire, best known for its herds of elephant, is home to more than 2,500
individuals.
Other common mammals include Impala, African Buffalo, Common Zebra and Masai
Giraffe. Rarer mammals include Leopard, Fringe-eared Oryx and Lesser Kudu.
The park is also home to more than 260 bird species. Return to Kikoti Tented
Camp to overnight. (BLD)

Valley. After lunch, we descend to Lake Manyara National Park for an
afternoon game drive. (BLD)
Days 5-7 - Olduvai Gorge / Serengeti National Park After
breakfast we travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, driving around the
crater™s rim descending to Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai Gorge is one of the most
important prehistoric archaeological sites on Earth. After viewing the Gorge
and listening to an interpretive presentation, we continue to Tanzania™s
most renowned national park, the Serengeti. Home to the greatest
concentration of large mammals on Earth, the migratory herds of wildebeest,
zebra and gazelle roam widely in search of green grass and water. We spend
three nights at our private mobile tented camp, situated where wildlife
viewing is likely to be the best at the time of your visit. (BLD)
Days 8 & 9 - Serengeti National Park (Western Corridor “ Grumeti)

Grumeti River region of the park.

provides a year round habitat for many of the Serengeti™s bird and mammal
species. We spend two nights at the beautiful Mbalageti Serengeti Camp. (BLD)
Days 10 & 11 - Ngorongoro Crater
