The Stanmore Tea Estate Bungalow is a Homestay located at Valparai (Tamilnadu, India), 3800 feet above sea level on the Anamalai Hills a mountain range on the western ghats, adjacent to the famed Indira Gandhi National Park at Top Slip.

The Stanmore bungalow is a sprawling 7500 sq ft British built bungalow located in Valparai, a plantation town near to the Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary.

Accommodation:  Bungalow surrounded by green lawns spread across the open courtyard. It has 3 large bedrooms, dressing rooms, modern toilets and fireplaces in all rooms.
Bungalow has a common dining hall and a verandah surrounding the entire bungalow.

The bungalow is a home to Malabar Giant squirrels and the occasional barking deer making its way across the lawn, heading for the vegetable garden behind the bungalow

One can visit the Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary which is home to the Indian Elephant, Wild Gaur (Bison), Leapards, Barking deer, Endangeered Lion Tailed - Macaques, Hornbills, Bird etc.
