Rajasthan Itinerary-
Jaipur - Shekhawati - Bikaner (4-5
nights) |
| This
is a short-break tourist itinerary for Rajasthan that covers three major destinations
in Jaipur (Forts and Palaces), Bikaner (Forts and Palaces) and Shekhawati Region
(Frescoed Havelis and Forts). |

Day 1
- Arrive in Jaipur. Full day sightseeing covering Amer
Fort, Jantar Mantar (Observatory), Hawa Mahal and possibly shopping in the evening.
Evening Entertainment and Dinner at Chokhi Dhani (Ethnic Indian Restaurant).
Day 2 - Optional day for additional sightseeing and Shopping or relaxation.
Day 3 - Proceed to Shekhawati region (150 - 200 kms - 3-4 hours). Visit
Nawalgarh's Frescoed Havelis and eventually settle at Mandawa (Enjoy evening entertainment
with Rural backdrop at Mandawa) Day 4 - Proceed from Mandawa to Bikaner
(210 kms). Evening Visit to Lallgarh Palace Complex. Day 5: Visit Junagarh
Fort and time permitting Deshnoke Temple (Temple where you find hundreds of Rats
around the deity and the temple) and proceed to Jaipur (330 kms - 5 hours). Reach
by Evening.

night can be spend in Shekhawati region further exploring the area. There are
several temples and forts in this area and based on the area of interest it can
be explored. -
Additional
night can be spend in Bikaner further exploring the area or relaxing in a Royal
Retreat like Gajner Palace or visiting nearby
Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary. |
