This is a recommended tourist itinerary for overseas
guests who wish to visit all major destinations of Rajasthan with Agra in a circular
Delhi-Delhi Itinerary. Destinations covered here are Mandawa - Bikaner - Jaisalmer
- Jodhpur - Udaipur - Chittaurgarh - Bundi - Ranthambhore - Jaipur and Agra.

Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi and Proceed to
Mandawa (250 kms - 5-6 hours). Rest for the rest of the day. Enjoy evening entertainment
programmes (During winter season) if you are staying at Castle Mandawa or Desert
Resort. Day 2- Visit Frescoed Havelis of Nawalgarh and Proceed
for Bikaner (225 kms - 4 hours) and reach by evening. Day 3 - Visit
Junagadh Fort and Lallgarh Fort Complex and proceed for Jaisalmer (325 kms - 6
hours) and reach by evening. Day 4 - Half Day Sightseeing
around Jaisalmer (Jain Temples, Cenotaphs). Rest for rest of the day or visit
fort in the evening. Day 5 - Rest in the morning or Visit to the Fort.
Proceed to Khuri or Sam Dunes in the afternoon. Reach by 4. Stay overnight in
a Camp. Camel ride to Sunset and evening Entertainment at the Camp. Day
6 - Proceed to Jodhpur (310 kms - 5 1/2 hours) after breakfast. Reach by afternoon.
Evening Visit to Visit to Mandore Gardens, Balsamand Lake and local markets in
the evening. Day 7 - Full day sightseeing covering Mehrangarh
Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace and Jaswant Thada. Time Permitting Visit Bishnoi Village
at the Outskirts. Day 8: Proceed to Udaipur (260 kms) via Ranakpur
Temples. Lunch at Ranakpur and reach Udaipur by evening. Day 9 : Relax
with a stay at a heritage hotel near Lake Pichola and enjoy boating in Lake. Visit
Local Monuments Day 10 : Proceed to Chittaurgarh (120 kms - 2
1/2 hours). Visit the Fort and stay either at Bassi (20 kms from Chittaurgarh)
or Bijaipur (40 kms from Chittaurgarh). Day 11 : Proceed to Bundi (About
120 kms). Stay at one of the heritage Havelis and enjoy a relaxed ambience.
Day 12 : Proceed to Ranthambhore (100 kms). Evening Canter Safari.
Day 13: Morning and Evening Cater Safari. Day 14: Proceed
to Jaipur (180 kms - 4 hours) after morning canter Safari. Reach by late
afternoon. Relax for rest of the day. Day 15: Full day sightseeing
covering Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar (Observatory), Hawa Mahal and possibly
shopping in the evening. Evening Entertainment and Dinner at Chokhi Dhani (Ethnic
Indian Restaurant). Day 16: Proceed to Agra (232 kms) via Bharatpur
(Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary). Lunch at Bharatpur. Visit Fatehpur Sikri Enroute
to Agra. Relax at Agra for Rest of the Day. Day 17: Full day sightseeing
visiting Agra Fort, The Taj and other monuments and proceed to Delhi by afternoon
and reach by evening. Day 18: Full Day sightseeing at Delhi visiting
Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Bahai Temple. Day 18 Late evening or Day 19:
Fly off for onward journey or home destination.

Chittaurgarh / Budi a Stay at Shahpura Bagh
Can be considered after Udaipur enroute to Ranthambhore. -
For
a shorter itinerary without Chittaurgarh / Budi / Ranthambhore, From Udaipur -
Jaipur route can be covered (400 kms) in 6-7 hours or can be done with a stopover
at Deogarh Mahal or Chhatrasagar. |
