Off the Beaten Track
  • An activity oriented rural retreat near Jodhpur like Rohetgarh or Chanwa Luni can be opted for an experience oriented (Village Visits, Horse Safari, Jeep Rides) itinerary. For a more village like experience, Bishnoi Village is an excellent option.

  • Additional night at Manvar, a Desert camp mid-way on Jodhpur-Jaisalmer route can be considered. Manvar is more private desert retreat than ones at Sam and provides a more profound Desert experience than a more touristy Sam.

  • Camel Camp Osian takes this desert experience to another level with offerings like ½ day camel ride at Osian, Champagne Lunch, Theme dinner (flame torch) on the dunes and the ultimate two night mobile camel camp.

  • For bird watching and experiential stay enthusiasts, Bhap (130 before from Bikaner on Jaisalmer - Bikaner route) is an excellent option and Barsingha Villa Bhap is an excellent stay option for a variety of experiential activities. Bhap can be an alternative to Bikaner stay or could be done in addition to Bikaner Stay.

  • Guests may opt for activity options at Pushkar and taking a step further may opt for Nimaj insted of Pushkar for a more rural and relaxing backdrop. Chhatrasagar and Nimaj Palace are excellent experiential options high on Rajasthan experience and charm.

  • Guests may opt for Fort Madhogarh instead of Jaipur stay. Fort Madhogarh offers an experiential stay that involves Camel rides and Jeep Safari to the village, Half day Camel/ Horse/ Jeep Safari to the Tunga battle field, cenotaphs and step wells, bird watching etc. Cookery lessons in Rajasthani cuisine are also available on prior request.
